CleatSkins Review
ByToday I just received 2 pairs of CleatSkins Pro, a red pair and a black pair. They each arrived in their own mesh carrying bag. The football cleats (lineman cleats) I got them for are a little wide so I was worried I would have a tough time getting them over the cleats. Not to worry at all they slipped on just like butter and the black color makes them look like regular street shoes. The red CleatSkins are cool as well since it matches my team colors.
To put them on you just put the toe of your cleats into the CleatSkins then grab the back of the CleatSkins and pull it on. It can be a little snug but it is not difficult at all. Just make sure you have the CleatSkins so the cleats are all inside. To take them off just grab the heel of the Cleatskins and peel them off. As long as you have the right size you are golden. Buy the same size CleatSkins as your cleat size. Don’t go bigger.
Walking around on the wood floors in the house was just like wearing a pair of walking shoes, no slips no worries. The next test was driving in them to the practice field. I own a stick shift so it is important my feet don’t slip on the pedals. CleatSkins were amazing. Nice grip, no slipping and they are a snug fit on my cleats.
